Week of Hope

Thank you for giving up your time last Sunday to discuss and plan a strategy for our “Week of Hope.” I believe that as we travel, work, play, and worship together, relationship will be built and strengthened. I also believe that this will set the stage for the Spirit to work in our hearts and lives, my prayer is that each of us will see God in a real and personal way. Man, can I get excited!
Here are some of the dates we discussed. I have also attached a donation letter to be used for the auction; this letter will be available on letterhead in my box in the general office.
1. May 23rd JP to talk to session about using some of the short term mission budget
2. May 25th Initial announcement regarding “Week of Hope” at the church wide cookout
3. May 29th Flyer in bulletins with all fund raising dates, announcement with possible video, Sundays on Sunday served by team after Worship Service
4. June 11th Car Wash – (Need to get signup sheets into each ABF)
5. June 25th Auction – Start asking for donation, Advertise event, cookout hamburgers/hotdogs, chips, soft drinks
6. July 15th Dinner and a movie
7. July 17th Early morning departure
8. July 22nd Late evening return
As a reminder the $150.00 deposit money should now be turned in and it is our goal to raise the balance through the above fund raising events.
