Crazy Love.
Reminded again today about how crazy in love with me, God is. WOW! God in love with me. I wish I could really get my hands around this. He loves me so much He sent His Son to live a perfect life for me then to die a horrible death to cleanse me. Then His Son obeyed the call and died for me. How can I be so apathetic about this. I ought to be bouncing off the walls for a God that loves me so. Help me Lord to live Mark 12:30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. This is my prayer for tonight.

What a great thing to think about. Thanks JP for reminding us about how much God loves us. He doesn't just love us, though. Jeremiah 32:41 says, "The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will renew you with His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.”
How can that be? The Lord rejoices over me? Over me! But then I think about the fact that God sent his one and only son to die for me and I think, "well of course." Of course he rejoices over me. He loved me so much that even when I did not yet love Him, He sent his son for me.
As I close my eyes for tonight, I can rest in the fact that God rejoices over me and exults over me with loud singing. How cool!
